Active since 1927, three generations engaged in mechanical processing. Today it features a strong client orientation aimed at offering a service accompanying them from the preliminary stages of the product definition to the delivery of the machined parts.

Thanks to multi-pallet systems and flexible production planning, we have overcome the “minimum batch” concept guaranteeing the client with the on-time delivery of the requested parts, whether it be volumes of a few dozen pieces per year or the production of thousands of pieces. Always maintaining very high-quality performances.

1927

Brunone Ferrari establishes Ferrari G.B.W

artisan company in the carpentry and mechanical bodywork sector.

1946

Production and marketing of its own product

a tractor for agricultural use on recovery mechanics using the mechanical parts of post-war American “legacy” military vehicles.

1953

Purchase of the first machine tool and start of third-party operations

Ferrari GBW purchases the first machine tool, a boring machine following the decision to produce tractors no longer with recovery mechanics but with its own mechanics; it also starts working for third parties.

1964/68

The second Ferrari generation enters the company

Gianni, current general manager, and William, current technical director, make a radical change. The third-party road is chosen as well as the high technological content of the services provided.

1974

The first computerised numerical control (CNC) machine tool arrives in the company

1982

Installation of the first three-dimensional measuring machine, a DEA Jota 1203

The “testing” department is structured, empowering the work philosophy based on an attention to the customer’s needs and on the technological avant-garde.

1995

The first Multipallet machine

The first flexible plant consisting of two machines and 35 shared pallets is purchased.

The Third generation of the Ferrari Family becomes part of the business

After graduating in Management Engineering, Andrea Ferrari, promoter of the computerised production process, joined the company.

Industry 4.0 pioneers

The company completes the integration of machine tools in the information system several years ahead of the trend promoted as industry 4.0
